Well, the time has finally come to get cut open, and hopefully fix my back up. They say it's a simple op, and I should be out by the weekend.
All prep has been done. Fish food is ready in meal size pack

Last minute attempts to abort mission have failed, and I am booked in to go under the surgeons knife tomorrow morning (15th Nov), for my laminectomy and microdisctectomy surgery. . Must admit, when I thought I had a cold that was going to stop the surgery happening, I was kinda relieved in a way, but doc says it's just hayfever, nothing to worry about
We also thought Heather might go early because bubs wasn't growing properly, but we had another ultrasound today, and all is looking well, which is a relief, hopefully I have the full three weeks to recover and she hangs in there until 5th December which is the due date.
