Wow a guy wanders away for a few months (six!) and I have to say it's amazing how this place has grown!

Now all I need is a few weeks to read everything!

:)

I would put aside more than a few weeks! as you can no doubt see people have been chatting up a storm in here - even the regulars (every day users) are hard pressed to keep up :)

lol VB....I'm a wanderer for sure :)

Actually I've stayed away from this forum on purpose. I was so eager at the beginning of the year to set a system up, and almost had one ready to go, when I realised I couldn't rely on the mains not going off for hours at a time. Found it too frustrating to read what everyone else was doing so I went off in a huff! :)

Now all I need to do is work out what I want to buy for a solar power system and I'll be up and running!

Corny,
I've just started playing with an autosyphon, and i reckon it would be well suited to a small pump powered by solar.

My pump is 35W (so you could probably get away with a 60W panel if you had it on a timer to turn off at night) and it floods my bathtub in about 3min 30 with a drain time of about 30 seconds
Steve
