Those of us in the western two-thirds of the country are fine thanks Mrs Church - it's the NE quadrant that's getting hit.

Man did we get hit... Strongest front I have ever seen.... Power is all out at work, car park is totally flooded, and it's mayhem out on the roads, we had hailstones the size of marbles and the sound in the shed at work was deafening.

First time I have ever seen orange/red on the BOM radar....

Post subject:  Re: Storm!!

We got hail size of golf balls further up north. 3 cars with hail damage, 1 a brand new car. 1 of them is really bad, absolutely peppered in dents.

AP system is obliterated, only recently removed the shade cloth. Every plant trashed. System flooded a few times over, ALOT of water. Houses down the street at the bottom of the hill are flooded to about 30cm.

Hail smashed through skylight in shed, so water poured in there.

Just heard Dad's windscreen got smashed in, as well as body work dented.

Thankfully the house is OK, no damage that I have seen so far, will need to check for cracked tiles.

BOM shows more on the way!

Whoa. Heaps of wind and water.
A few plants blown over and fish tank full to the brim. Must have been about 90mm in one go. Had to let some water out so venturi would work again.

Hope people's ap systems made it out alive!

Was crazy in the city. I work in West Perth and it pelted down!
Floods everywhere, a few trees uplifted.

All the cars outside our building were dented and our building's roof started leaking badly in many places and set the alarm off. We all got evacuated and told to go home. Lifts were leaking, some computers drenched. We are the top floor in a 5 storey building and we copped the brunt of it with the water damage.

WIll be interested to see what it all looks like tomorrow.

Makes you wonder, it isn't even winter yet and it causes soo much damage!

Cheers
Dan

I got 20mm in the first 10 min of the storm, the gutters and down pipes just couldn't keep up.

No hail, destructive wind or black out here so it is just nice to have some rain.

Wow!! Glad you guys are okay.

I live on the east coast of the US and we occasionally have hurricane threat... a monster came through here a few year back and cut a swath a couple hundred miles inland!

Keep us up to date on repairs and such!
