Must admit Bill... didn't like their chances after the first two quarters... but a great second half... congrats to the Saints... hopefully it will lift the spirits of people down that neck of the woods...

They canceled school in NewOrleans tomorrow, rescheduled Mardi Gras Parades due to the partying thats happening tonight. All the hotels in New Orleans were booked a weekago and the game wasnt' even in that city. Happy Mardi Gras everyone!!!!

I enjoy and have played many sports
watched a 3 part program that explained the ins and outs of your game as I always think that until you understand the intricacies of any game you cannot fully fathom its appeal. I now understand it but it still rates on a par with stamp collecting and synchronised swimming. I have never seen a game that starts and stops so much with very little real action in between. There is no doubt that GI participants are very athletically talented if only they were to play something like Rugby where there is 80 minutes of non stop action and no add stops

I'd say the same about rugby - of either code, but that's got to do with me not being brought up on it.
If my old man had hurled rocks at the neighbours for points, and it was of great social sature to do so, instead of playing AFL, I'd probably think hucking rocks was the be all and end all, and if my side stoned the others, I'd be happy too, especially if it were after as long a dought as this seems to be.
Let him celebrate.

Was good until the 4th quarter. But Tho Who made up for the Colts total lack of regard for the fans. The interception in the 4th was the the bullet...might have gone to overtime had Manning not been such a pinhead.

The more advanced the sport the more stops and adds there are. College then Pro and then bowl games have longer times for advertising. If the adds weren't cute or comical the amount of them would be unbearable. Rugby and Soccer are catching on but the sport makes hype, hype makes sport. Until the sport can support some advertising, the more advertising the sport can do. The only Rugby being played is High School, College and Amature teams around the BatonRouge area. There is a sports bar here in Baton Rouge that Televises World Soccer events and it was a fairly big gathering for the South African / Australian match. (mostly Aussies and South Africans) :drunken:

Mannings line did an excellent job of protecting him. Dispite the score it was a close match
