Just a quick question to satisfy my curiosity. This morning (Sat 14 Oct) I passed a person with a trailer load (5) of blue barrells on Sandgate Road, just off the Gateway Motorway. They were stopped and adjusting the tie down. I was wondering if it was anyone on this forum.

I only had a fleeting glance at the person and my first thoughts were of Big Mick (if his Avatar is a real photo and not of Rex Hunt) but I checked and he is in SA. So unless he like long Saturday drives, I guess it wasn't him. Any takers .... ?

And to go off topic on my own thread. I spoke to my SIL tonight regarding AP. Her father (Phillip Stoker) started an AP system some time ago (12 months) using Joels book and apparenty he has just started working for the same company that I work for (Ergon Energy). So I'll chase him up next week. Hey Phil, if you read this PM me ...

Apparently it's going really well. I haven't seen any recent photos but my SIL said his Jade (sic) perch were just reaching plate size, yum ... If I manage to contact him, I'll hassle him (ask politely) for photos.

on the same topic i often see ibc driving past on the back of utes and in trailers and wonder if it is someone starting an AP system ot alternatively hoping i could borrow it to expand mine.

Turns out my SIL father is working on the same floor as me and I had previously talked to him in the kitchen area. I went around this morning and said a formal hello and introduced myself. We've booked lunch together for this Friday to discuss our AP systems and I'm trying to get him to come on the 29th. Such a small world...
