I think we all joke about it, but in my case my wife has her hobby in genealogy and as long as costs are reasonable there is no ultimatums on AP.

Today she thought she might surprise me and bought a plant for the fish tank cause the fish had no decorations, the people at the nursery advised her it supplied oxygen to the water and feed for the fish.... hmmmn

yes, something along those lines - more like "are you sure this is going to work" - but I am DEFINATELY the more excited of the 2 of us.

It's my house and my coin, so my GF doesn't really have THAT much of a say.... :) but she is interested in aqua now and has even been selling the concept to others despite some early pessimism.

My GF (i'm using that till the last possible moment EB :)) doesn't batter an eyelid anymore, she's used to the carzy ideas :) I could say "honey, i'm going to build a time dilation device in the gararge, ok" and she'd be supportive :) I do, on occasion, get the "why don't you finish the last thing?" :)

Those were the days. You wait until you have the house and loan in both of your names and joint bank accounts. Then nothing is yours  .
