This weekend my cousin debuted for SA in the Sheffield shield cricket. He was economical but didn't get any wickets in the first innings, but so far in the second innings, he has taken 2 wickets and one of them was Andrew Symonds :) Has been his life long goal to do this and we are pleased to see him getting a game and hope he will make it into the Aussie side one day, and remember his cousin Stu when he is rich and famous

Nice one....

Your name just sounds right you know, I can hear it now over the radio "Haberfield bowling to Symonds, a beautiful ball, he's knocked the middle stump right out of the ground" :)

Just nipped in to the ground for a session... the only session they didn't bowl him all day. Close finish to the game too, hope he can clean up with a couple more wickets.

Was that due to a series of "no balls" wasting time at the crease???

Good win!
4 wickets is a good result on debut.

Just saw the young fella interviewed on the news. Four wickets on the last day to bring us home, pretty good! A rare win for the crow-eaters (but it was only Queensland)
 :geek:
