This warning is going around............

Of course if he reads this too will just get another hotmail address.... anyway .... thought to pass it on for what its worth...

IF THIS PERSON CALLED SIMON ASHTON (SIMON_25_@HOTMAIL.CO.UK) CONTACTS YOU
THROUGH EMAIL DON'T ACCEPT HIM. DELETE HIM BECAUSE HE IS A HACKER!!

TELL EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST BECAUSE IF SOMEBODY ON YOUR LIST ADDS HIM THEN
YOU WILL GET HIM ON YOUR LIST. HE WILL FIGURE OUT YOUR ID COMPUTER ADDRESS,
SO COPY AND PASTE THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE EVEN IF YOU DON'T CARE FOR THEM
AND FAST BECAUSE IF HE HACKS THEIR EMAIL HE HACKS YOUR MAIL TOO!!!!!...

Chelle

Cyara.... google "Mailwasher 1.33".... don't download the latest version... even though it's free and allows you to scan all mail (at the ISP) before you actually download... it removed the best feature (only available if you pay)...

The ability to "bounce" the email back to the dirkhead basstards....

They were NEVER cool. They were slow, laggy pieces of ****
They had too many accounts, overloaded servers, and were a domain for false identities.
Then of course, Microsoft bought it. You only thought it was bad before.

gmail is great, but only if you're happy for them to keep a permanent record of anything you send, and to own it. :-(
Google will take over the world.

Rule number 1:
If someone sends you an email and asks you to pass it on you probably shouldn't, as it is almost always a hoax. If you really think you need to, copy some of the text in the mail and google it. Then you'll know it's a hoax.

Thanks Rupe! :D

How will I know that I have a freeware version prior to this facility - to bounce - being removed? Googled it and seems to offer only one download.........

Everything today is geared to put an ad you dont want in your face or in osme way sell you something you don't need or want. Even Dell computers come loaded with a ton of "trial" ware that takes an hour to uninstall. at&t has not started sending sales calls to new cell customers and copper loop customers  Its all about the money.... This world is getting a bit out of control with the profit focused mega-dont-give-a-damn corps.

Absolutely true DDM.

The famous saying: This is not personal. It's just business.....
Business used to be very personal for all concerned. It was a matter of honour.

I kinda like the phone calls you get trying to sell you something. Allows me to vent. And it is more successful than asking for your phone number to be taken off there call lists. I miss the calls. :(
