We in WA are in the third year of our Daylight Saving Trial so what do you think would you vote yes or no, would be nice if only WA members voted on this one, but if your state has it you can vote if you like it or hate it, and if from Queensland would you vote yes or no for DLS in your state

I cant mow the lawn/trim the hedge/etc at 5am, but I can at 7pm.

I voted yes. Cos if we have to put up with it them someone else should to. My ride on has lights so I can mow of a night.

I voted no, we have 14 hours of daylight, and my liver can't handle another hour of drinking each day, we don't have a beach and the nearest cappuccino strips are 200+ km's away, it takes less than 3 minutes for me to get home from work so I don't need to get out of bed an hour earlier just so I can drink more

I wish daylight savings was year-round. This year Congress extended both ends of daylight savings and it was soooo nice.

Well I find the extra hour of daylight in the evening waaaaay more usefull than at 5am.

i vote yes because ti means my kids get up at 5 or 6 not 4 or 5 so really its the rest of the state coming into line with my kids

thing that really cracks me up about DLS is the rubbish folks put out about it afecting the drapes fadeing and the cows milking ect

What do you mean the extra hr of daylight does not realy effect the drapes

I find you feel like cooking something so you want to go down to the shops but there already closed. And this also affect my last minute runs to the hardware shop.

nor does it stop the cows from milking

I would question that letting children out in the higest UV part of the day is a sensible idea. I would also ask if energy use increases as 'city' workers return to their homes and crank up the airconditioners etc. Skin cancer increase will not be apparent for a number of years.
There was a referendum on this not long ago and it was overwhelmingly voted against. Not that that made any bloody difference to our pollies; business wants it.
I assume you possibly can work out that I vote NO (again) on this issue.
