I think video's should be banned from the site or at least quarantined. No problem for me, on my high-speed cable,,, but what about other's on dial-up. 50K???? Example,,,John Smith wants to add valuable data to a thread,,,he uses dial up 56k (often 50or lesss),,he needs to wait hours whilst these videos load , even then his ability to add data is compromised,,mean while his bank site has kicked him fo rinactivity and he will need to re-log in to pay his bills. I vote NAHH, negatory, No way. |

I use linux and haven't figured out how to get a flash player plugin properly... so all these just flash posts above turn out blank. (And load real fast. I don't mind others putting flash stuff up (though I can't view it myself)... but I'd prefer plain old mpg links. If you have a dial-up, and flash is slowing you down, you could probably uninstall the flash plugin or disable it - I think it can be done in IE too? In firefox it's easy to disable it. |

Most of the posts were "trials" and load blank anyway Gokul .... seems they also be linked back to Dandi's home server... If he's offline... or his host is ... they wont display.... like now for instance... |

Firefox has a plug-in, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722, no-script, which auto-blocks all flash. You have to click on the ones you want to work, or whitelist certain sites. if I were on dial-up, I'd totally use that, to prevent the autoload issue. (I use it all the time anyway, for security purposes). |

These are streaming videos so they will not pre load, However, I will add a play button in the future to start the streaming. This way low bandwidth users will not be affected. I did think about that. |
