I'm not sure how the rest of your spouses feel about your AP obsession, but my wife has been very encouraging.

At first I was a bit apprehensive about the cost, and when I expected her to put the brakes on, she gladly approved the budget.

Her attitude appears to be that my involvement in my system will give her more time to do the things SHE wants to do. She has even offered to feed the fish (lightly) when I'm out of town.

I always struggled to get her to help me when we were growing our veggies in soil, and she grumbled and complained continuously. I don't know what the problem was, but I can honestly say that AP has greatly improved our relationship. She isn't getting as much exercise, so she has got a bit chubby, but hey, at least she has the energy now to keep the beers coming.

Anyway, thanks guys, AP has changed our lives.

I agree with what you're saying S-man. A tip I'd give any budding young AP'er is that if you can win over your spouse, it will be easier to get the permission + money needed to extend or build your next system. (I still can't convince her to convert the swimming pool but I'm working on it).
