Hey guys,
DW and I are going on a road trip north from Melbourne. We leave next Tuesday.
We plan on ending up in Port Macquarrie, or perhaps Brisbane, never been there before.

This is just a general request for invitations to visit any AP systems that may be on the way...
I'd love to drop in and see some more APers in person.

So far we're passing through Shepparton, Camden and Port Macquarrie, but more stops are possible...

You should plan the route of your road trip so that it passes through all the AP systems in Australia. That way you don't need any invite. ;) :P

gokul, this is the purpose of my missive. I want to be able to plan detours... But I don't know who'd have me or even be home, nor where they are ;-)

Mate you are welcome to stop in here for a coffee and a chat. Im at Hope Island on the northern end of the Gold Coast - near Sanctuary Cove.

I should be getting my tanks delivered on Monday or Tuesday so should have things up and running by the end of the week with fish to follow as soon as it has cycled (now where did I put tose fish tank heaters to speed things up)....

If you make it to Brisbane - I'm happy for you to come over and see my less than exciting system. Would give you a chance to play with Bella :wink:

Yep- can fit in a guided tour of the AP systen at the :reindeer: place, just let me know when you get your itinerary sorted out :wink:

with two invites to brisbane, we just may have to fit it into the schedule ;-)

Tell me is it warmer there than here? I've just been for a 5 hour motorbike ride, in the bush, raining almost the whole time, with an average temp of 12 degrees! I'm slowly getting sensation back :? now for a couple of scotches, and bed methinks.

FYI DW has just informed me of a forgotten dental appointment, departure has now been delayed until Tuesday afternoon :-(

Not sure when/if you're passing through Sydney but you (& DW) are welcome to drop in. I am a little busy at the moment (understatement!) but am free 'til mid afternoon (~3:30pm) on both Saturday & Sunday. We could "do lunch" if you're free then?

Left Savage's this morning.
In Yarrawonga/Mulwala now, DW likes it, so staying for 2 nights. Come Saturday we'll be on the road again. Not sure if we'll be in Sydney before Monday though Scottie. Especially if Roz is avail this weekend.
Otherwise, having a great time. This lake here is huge... just thinking howmany good fish'd be in it!
