As with everything, parents need to be sure of what their kids are exposed to. They need to limit certain computer and real-life access (as best they can),

We use http://opendns.com/ to block bad content. It free too! You just have to change your routers DNS server and every computer on the home network is protected; or change your computers dns. With a small program to report your ip address to opendns you can even manage your account and net access.

Here is the program that tracks your ip address. I had a hard time finding it so if you do use open dns and have a dynamic ip address (non-static) then you will need this if you want to manage your access. http://66.76.55.66/news/Dynamic_IP_monitor34.zip

You will have to read their webpage to figure out how to set it up. We have a static ip address now so I dont have to use it and its been over a year since I set it up; seems like I used the URL method..
