Hey there Boyd, is it snowing in Flint ? I'm not going for a drive, I hooked the car keys onto the dog's collar and told him to piss off for the night !!

Wow, it's a pleasant 25 deg C here, (77 deg F) but where my missus is, 1000 km south in Tasmania, it's snowing on the mountain again. I really like driving in the snow - my car stops squeaking !!

Praise the Lord, I figured out how to edit my mis-spelled topic heading - ain't science wunnerfull,
Down here in sunny OZ we're not really used to driving in snow and ice - it can be disastrous !! I've watched movies filmed in places like Nova Scotia and Greenland where they just sorta slam into one another like dodge'em cars and accept it like it's normal - is this the way it is in Michigan ?
I only ask because my cousin lives in Boston and seems to accept being knocked off his bike by outa-control cars as a part of living in the city.

Hehhehe Well....... not really. We pride ourselves to drive in a foot or more of snow without going into the ditch... Even though Flint Michigan is the closest "Major" City, I am in the boondocks :) I often drive an hour a day one way for work... and when the roads are bad, its two or 3 hours one way.

I've only been in one accident in the past 10 years... and that is because a deer unfortunately chose that moment to run in front of my car while I was travelling about 70 miles an hour ... (110km/hr?) Practically totaled my car, but the good news is my freezer is full.... and I saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico.........

Big Mick, I'm just about sure you used to be my pet foxie judging by your pic! Do you also answer to the name "Bait" (as in sharkbait)???

Gee, SNAG, Lenny's all upset now he's been mistaken for a Foxy - he's all Jack Russell - well, nearly all, just two bits missing !

LOL Mine was part JR so that explains my mistake. Bait was two potatos short of a roast dinner too! Great dog, used to get the black and brown snakes, see off any other dogs (and I mean ANY other dogs, no matter how big), and come home after rolling in horse dodo. Had him put down October...fitting and blind. The vet thought he had a brain tumor. *Sigh*

Heather's fam used to have a Jack Russel. It got pregnant to a big black dog that jumped the fence poor love... Had 2 pups about as big as she was. Crazy friggin dogs. They used to exercise heer by driving to the beach opening the door of the car and driving off at which point the dog would chase after the car at 40k's an hour to the end of the beach and then they would open the door, let her back in and all go home. An uncle of mine had one on Kangaroo Island. Named Jack  Youi could put a tennis ball in his mouth and swing him around above your head which he hung on to the bal
