We got our Christmas present early from Axl's father, a food dehydrator. We got it early because the mangoes are ready now, so they needed processing now. This morning we cut up about 12 mangoes and filled the trays of the dryer with yummy fruit and some pulp. It was a bit of a bugger though, because we had all this fruit left over DAIQUIRIRIRIRIRIRIS!!!

Hmmm some1 asked me if I wanted a dehydrator for Chrissy, how did it go? I believe it's a heat dryer. I'd prefer a freeze dryer, but am interested as to how these dryers go. Dried Mango is not something I would have thought of. Any good? |

Dried mango is excellent. Fresh mango daiquiris sound even better. We have a dehydrator, and I've put up a bit of stuff like that. I made a dried soup assortment one year. Beans, tomatoes, peppers, etc. Not bad. |
