Post subject:  Green waste composting plant Camden NSW

Hi guys.
Bit about myself here. I work for an integration company.
I do mostly software programming, but we dabble in electronics and snazzy hardware whenever we get the chance.
At the moment we are building a control system for a composting plant in Camden.

This plant is intended to cut the composting of council green waste from 6 months, to 25 days or less.
The compost produced will be pasteurised and perfect for gardens.

What's best, is it uses hardly any power - like AP all it requires is some pumps, for both air and water, and some feedback.
All really nifty... it uses compost's own heat to pasteurise, and has a big biofilter to get rid of that 'tip' smell.

There are also plans to build anaerobic digesters, and to run a small power plant
(probably only enough to power the plant and a bit back into the grid) running off the methane produced.

Anyway, my main reason for telling you this, is I'm being shipped to Camden come Wednesday
until Friday and then Monday through Wednesday - at least, afaik.
So I am extending an invitation to the local pub or other wateringhole to any APer who might live in the vicinity and want to catch up.

So any takers?

Steve, you're welcome at the local pub here any time, but I was referring to catching up with one of our friends north of the border. If there are any who live there. I hear it's almost rural in Jack's Gully.

Company is Integration Solutions, but I fear our size means we are not well known.

I studied Robotics mechatonics. Robotics is yes robots, but the mech side is more automation and control, which is what I do really. Programming something as flexible as a robot is not my cup of tea, there's not enough daily variation to keep me interested.

Many green waste recyclers add up to 10% human effluent into their mix.. It is after processing by the sewerage plant but hey... shit shit.

Guess it would kickstart efficient bio activity...but I'm no expert...just an expert in harvesting the raw product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm reasonably close KP, but it's just a bit too far and out of the way to go for a drink and then have to drive back.... like I'd have to be an idiot to drink and drive anyway

Part from that I'm heading to Brisvegas Friday and am flat out.... and then driving back after the weekend... so I'll probably miss you either way

Are you serious?
How far out in the country is Gerringong? You've certainly got the mentality! It's gotta be a couple of hundred k's to camden (I've been studying a map)
and ti's only 'A bit to far'?????????
I'm not offended you think it's too far to come.
