I've got something of a weed issue around my place, i can't seem to pull them out fast enough so i need a spray on solution.
I am however less then enthusiastic about spraying the commercial sprays all over the place after reading their ingredients.
I've read in a few places that a solution of soap and vinegar is effective, can anyone here confirm this or will i need to take one for the team?
I'm thinking this kind of thing will have zero residual effect in my soil and would be less likely to nuke the plants i do want to keep

Vinegar will take out some weeds that do not have heavy tap roots. It may take a couple applications. I have not heard of adding soap.

Be careful not to use vinegar to excess, as it can affect pH, of course.
