I'm only guessing but I think these two fellas are having a disagreement over the ownership of the IBCs in the trailer. It seems one of them has rocked up in the grey ute and seen "his" IBCs loaded up on the trailer. A bit of "push me, shove you" later and things went downhill until the kickboxing began... I knew AP was addictive but things are getting out of hand. Sad state of affairs. (Hope they aren't forum members...) |

I didn't even see the IBCs first time around in that photo. Shame on me. Where I lived in NSW, we used to have kangaroos strolling around all the time, we used to go and feed them on christmas day, was fun. |

No idea how I've never witnessed this kind of behavior... Hilarious! Are they actually fighting or competing for territory/female or just playing? Those tails are killer... i need one |

see it a bit on my property. Whats more funny is watching the cows run flat out after them to scare them away. |

DutyDan wrote: I also hear they're delicious? That they are. Crush a Kiwi fruit and rub the pulp all over Kangaroo fillet. Marinate for exactly two hours (too much longer and it will turn to mush) heat a heavy pan to stinking hot, add a neutral cooking oil that can cope with high temps (eg canola not olive) Dont overload the pan. Cook in batches if needs be. cook on one side until you see the red liquid come through (looks a bit like blood but isnt really) then turn Remove from heat after only a minute or two (just long enough to get some colour). Remove from pan, cover and rest Add equal parts sweet chilly sauce, and red wine to the pan, and reduce until you achieve a consistency you like Cut roo fillet into bite size chunks and add back to the sauce form a minute to heat, and coat in awesomeness. Serve on a bed of 50/50 mashed potato and sweet potato mash, covering centre of plate. Add roo to mash base, top with sauce, and roll plate around to cover eating surface of plate evenly, then add steamed veggies or toast veggies... potato, pumpkin, carrots, etc etc etc. Use only fillet not steak, and poke your finger into the plastic wrapping/butchers display/road kill to find a fillet that doesnt have too much resistance. Resistance is useless. It either means you have tough silver streaks of ... I cant spell it.... it rhymes with "bin you" in your meat, or you are about to be thrown into space by a Vogon. Either way, avoid it and look for roo fillet that gives evenly when poked. Also look for fillets that are reasonably even in thickness, or delay adding the thinner bits to the pan. This is my favourite food, and would be my death row last meal if I couldn't get my first preference. |
