Realised I can't share small successes on the venting thread so started this one instead.
Had to change the rear brakes pads on my car today and sometime since I last owned this model they changed the handbrake/callipers so that I could just clamp the pistons back in instead of having to screw them in.
It's a small victory I know but they're all I get so I make the most of them.
Not having the special tool meant I previously had to use two screwdrivers as levers. It was heaps easier than I expected and only took ten minutes to do both sides.
In a rare moment I saw nice even wear on all 4 pads too. Gotta love a win.
