I rise about 5- 5:30.

In Australian this is 3:30.

I think you folk should get up earlier to discuss Aqua with me over morning coffee. Our UK friends can just knock off work early to join in.

America has too many time zones and is still trying to coordinate 4th of July celebrations.

So, see you all tomorrow 3:45 am! 8)

No way I'm going to risk going back on the PC at that time - the wife will chop off... (well, we can all finish that one ourselves! )

hahahaha.... My thought exactly when I read it, Steve will probably still be up.....

For Johnnie and I in the west that would be 1.30 in the morning, might catch me on the odd weekend night still up then...

AA, I think you're going to have to do work in converting some fellow kiwis over to aquaponics... There is a guy somewhere in NZ that was growing wasabi and trout in an aquaponics system, ever hear of him?

No. That sounds fascinating.

I'm hoping to meet a few local aquarists and Hydro folk soon I have read the works of many and know who I want to hook up with.

Got a meeting on Friday might get $5000 for tools etc start up costs and funded small wage for 6 months to do Urban Micro Farm type set-ups! They will appeal to the niche of trendy hippies Auckland is plagued by. They will also fund my bio-digestor studies I see great things combining this with aqua in Agriculture.

My greenhouse is to experiment/display a family size Aquaponic garden providing fish herbs and veg. The fish laws here make that very hard. That's why I need some Marine Biologists etc to learn about Aqua and endorse my getting a catfish gazetted.

The wasabi trout guy must be in South Island actually, or close. I've been told of, but not read directly about him. I'm not allowed to farm trout???

Cant remember where the guy was exactly, I think it may have been this guy here. But it doesn't seem like he's doing much aqua by his website.....

This one is interesting and fairly recent

That would be great if you can get $ to help set things up..... :D
