Very cool… I can't wait for someone to make an AP specific ap for it when released! I imagine it could be very useful for diagnosing deficiencies in plants and the water… solo cool

yeah a phone would already have most of the necessary electronics… the actually light sensor thing was very small in the video so not too hard to integrate I imagine… hell most phone have TWO cameras in them already… what do I need TWO cameras for! :D (and yes I know what they are used for.. but really!)

I still have a little blue tooth satellite receiver, a little thing the size of a matchbox, the first incarnation of GPS on a mobile phone... Now of course it's inside nearly every phone.

Look at how it's shrinking already while it's been in development. Once you take out the need for battery, bluetooth, processing power, etc, because these are already in a phone... Man, not far off I would think...

Yup.. in that image the only thing you probably need is the sensor lying next to each prototype

A pity it can't measure blood glucose without first removing a sample. Can you imagine how many people would want this gizmo. I'd be looking for a way to buy stock if it could :think:

It did say it could go through a few mm depth so if you were on a artery/vein wouldn't it work?
