Currently I have my small aquaponicssystem and next to it a bucket I make compost tea in for my soil based plants out on the balcony.

Was thinking if it wouldn't be better for the plants if I just watered them with water from the fish tank instead...

What do you guys think?

Why not make the compost tea with water from the AP system?

I've been doing some more pondering about this...

I think the best way is to brew the compost tea with water from the fish tank with some soil and molasses and then dilute the mixture say 1:5 with more fish tank water. That way you get the proper pH and no chlorine in the water instead of diluting the tea with tap water.
