my darling husband, known to many as Axl, has wandered off to some work related event known as football :confused4: apparently it was so important that he attend this work related function, they "needed" him there.

Anyway, as a result of this work related function, I have fed the children the meal I spent most of the day preparing, lasagne, soon to be followed by apple and strawberry pie, something I also spent considerable time preparing. I have also consumed half a bottle of Minchinbury Private Cuvee (it was in the fridge, it would have gone off you know). There may be some need to consume some mead as well, before it loses it's goodness as well.

lasagne, apple and strawberry pie and some spirits... sounds simply marvelous and very delicious... would have surely made me tempted to skip "work"

House renovating in Tas., busy, busy, busy. this is supposed to be retirement, but I'm working harder for the missus than I ever did for a boss. Now that I'm nearly done here I'm applying for a job in the local mines - I need the rest !!

Mining is booming here in Queenstown and surrounding area, they'll take anybody local, hopefully including old farts like me.

AP has been put on the back-burner for the moment, but I'll try growing a few trouts when I get going again - in the meantime I only have to drive 15 minutes down the road to Lake Burbury to catch government-sponsored trouts- they release zillions of them all over Tas each year.

I got to heaven without dying !!
