Currently I have my small aquaponicssystem and next to it a bucket I make compost tea in for my soil based plants out on the balcony. Was thinking if it wouldn't be better for the plants if I just watered them with water from the fish tank instead... What do you guys think? |

Why not make the compost tea with water from the AP system? |

I've been doing some more pondering about this... I think the best way is to brew the compost tea with water from the fish tank with some soil and molasses and then dilute the mixture say 1:5 with more fish tank water. That way you get the proper pH and no chlorine in the water instead of diluting the tea with tap water. |
