Not sure if this is the right spot but it seemed to be the best fit. As website optimization is my career I can't help but think the "Logout" button on the top left of the navigation leads to many people unintentionally logging out. This position is typically for a "Home" button. I've, on many occasions, sub consciously navigated and pushed "Logout" thinking I would go to the main forums. Not a huge deal but I figured it wouldn't hurt to point it out.

sorry I can't see how you can mistake Logout for Home

I did not consciously click "Logout" thinking it meant "Home", it just comes as a natural reaction to click on that area when navigating a website. 99% of websites I've seen use that real estate for a home button(cnn.com, pbs.com, linkedin.com, etc, etc). This was simply an observation I was pointing out. If other don't agree, no big deal. |
