Firstly I'm not a fan of gambling. If you hate it then this tip is for you. Guaranteed bet to beat sportsbet on the election vote if you have never been a member there! They double your first bet with them up to $100 Join and bet $100 on either party. Use their 'free' $100 bet on the other party. You'll either win $1150 or $103. Win win situation in a two horse race eh? Even overseas people can get in on the action. Best tip since Bart Cumming's perennial tip "Don't gamble" |

My tired brain has worked it out. Sportsbet lets you use the bonus on the same bet. Put 2x $100 bets on labour. If they get in you get $2300. Go to Tom Waterhouse and put $100 on coalition, if they get in you get $185 plus another unrelated $100 bet. Worst case you lose $25, best case well over $2000/ Any thoughts? Crap, i sound like I don't hate gambling don't I? Time for bed... |

Labour... Liberal... Tom waterhouse... Common factor? 30,30 slugs. You have to stop thinking anything they have to do has anything to do with you. SERIOUSLY. |

I don't, I just want to stick my middle finger up at the big gambling houses. |

Gambling = the willingness of the gullible to believe the mathematical probabilities will be suspended just for them. |

My guilt has me awake still... Mods - I realised after posting that this is a family forum and it is probably inappropriate to have started a thread on gambling considering the many problems that is causes. If so please delete the thread. In defence of my thoughts though, if the sportsbet bet was $80 plus the bonus joining bet of $80, I'd either walk away with $5 in my pocket or around $1660 depending on the result. At current odds that's how it stands as long as one or the other gets in... |

you could spend $5 on lettuce seeds gambling. Let's say 500 seed to a pack... How big are the odds of growing lettuce out of a seed? By 4 out of 10 you get 200 lettuce and a market value of $400. legal gambling... |

gambling gives diminishing returns. By the time the 4th person reads this and does it, the odds have changed and the 5th person gets screwed over royally, along with anyone after them. |

And I was wrong. Completely, utterly, humiliatingly wrong! The odds offered by waterlouse were for a win by more than 26.5 (???) seats. Not just a win. Can't beat the house... Yep. WRONG! Do not follow my advice. I never bet so I was ignorant of how it all works. Apologies all around. |
