GDO: Gararge Door Opener SG teams have a GDO which transmits an IDC (Iris deactivation code) to stargate command, when verified the operator opens the IRIS. The Iris is a titanium interlocking plate positioned microns away from the event horizon of the stargate to prevent matter re-intergrating. Ok monya? Geeze The shame of being a stargate nerd |

sorry chief, I better do my homework, feeling a bit bewildered by all the abbreviations, and stargate chatter!!! Thanks for the explanation. I use my GDO every morning.... there I even used it in a sentence
