Are you human?: Only after 3 coffees

Morning all that time of year again when the good wife keeps asking what I want for Christmas.

So I would like a reasonable priced camera that can do videos under water. What is everyone using and would you buy it again?

Cheers

The go pro hero 3 just came out. It is us$300, the still awesome hero 2 is down to $200. They both shoot at 1080p, the 3 has a better lense for underwater, and built in wifi.

The Black Edition can also shoot in a resolution high enough to project it full screen at the local cinema. If you click on change quality you can see the res above HD, that is assuming you have a monitor that is 2K resolution.

Resolution isn't everything though.

720p or 1080p is suffiecient.

Computer monitors are increasing in resolution and 4K TV is being introduced. I'm not sure if people will take up such high resolution because there isn't really much content filmed in such high resolution.

4K resolution on a TV is high enough that the human eye could not see the pixels and it would be like looking out your window.

@ Ronmaggi

Funny you should mention that, "The Hobbit" was filmed on a Red Camera.

But also your cousin Jack Sparrow was filmed using a red Camera Ronmaggi :thumbright:
