Well I am just so chuffed, I have to share. Anyone who is running a small business here in Australia will know just how difficult and time consuming it can be collecting, forwarding payments and reporting taxation and superannuation.
Well for years now every quarter when it is time to fulfill the superannuation requirements I sit down with the reports and send money off to all the different funds and then have to advise each of them with all the different methods they dictate, it has been a job that is time consuming and messy.

The great new is that I have just discovered the "small business superannuation clearing house". What an absolute godsend. Last quarter all I had to do was to register and provide all the details of the staffs super funds and the best news is that I make one Bpay payment and it is all done. Today it took me 5 minutes to pay the super for the employees for the last three months. They advise the super funds of the payment and get it to them. It couldn't have been easier.

It comes under the Australian Government - Medicare Australia. Seems a little strange but I am ever so please that they offer this service free to small businesses. What a great discovery! :)

Wash your mouth out mantis ;)

Seriously that is a good idea, we just need them to simplify tax and BAS now ! And not change the rules every 5 minutes...

Government NOT changing rules seems like a fairy tale.
