The other day I had friends pop into town and inquired if I had time on my "social" calendar to visit with them. I ran down the list of kids' birthday parties and scout meetings, etc to attend. Then I told them about the AP things I plan to work on. I joked that the AP to-dos are actually listed on my "anti-social" calendar. It seems that most of these AP related things I'm doing, I'm doing alone.

Being that I tend to be an introvert, i.e. I'm okay with spending lots of time being quiet and by my self while I feel mentally fatigued sometimes after lots of time in the company of others.

And I started to wonder how many BYAPers would consider themselves extroverts, introverts, or somewhere in between. And then there's the term "webtrovert" - and introvert who is outgoing only online!

What social type are you?
How social is your BYAP activities?

In my case that's kind of true. It gives me more stuff to do without leaving the house therefore I leave the house less.

AP has been very social for me.

Met a lot of great people at an Ellenbrook APers BBQ couple of years ago.

Had a catch up at the BYAP show this year.

Have had a couple of other forum members visit as well.

I definitely like to socialize with people who have similar interests as mine. I do not enjoy small talk for the most part.

That is my hopes... I had the pleasure if meeting TCLynx earlier this year before I started my build then epic failure.
I hope to attend one of her meet-up farm tours and while there meet like-minded individuals.
