I've just noticed that it's 1 year today since I first started this discussion board.. :D

Boy how time flies, and what's more amazing, is how this group has grown, and the wealth of information that it now provides.

I just wanted to offer my personal thanks to all members. It's through your sharing, your discussions, questions, answers and ideas, that this place has grown to become what it is now. We are by far the largest aquaponic discussion board in the world, with a many and varied member base from all walks of life.

The board has surpassed my expectations, I wanted to create a place where people could learn about and discuss aquaponics, I never expected it could reach the levels that it has.

Once again, thanks everybody…. And big thanks to the Moderators and Admin staff…

Joel I'm amazed that this board is only 1 year old...

With all the other imitators that seem to have popped up and are trying to cash in on Aquaponics it would seem as though this whole thing must have been common and shared knowledge for much longer than that.

Only a year and you've spawned so many other experts already..... :lol:

In some ways it doesn't seem like 1 year - but in others it seems like 10. I can't remember the exact date I joined - but although it has seemed slow at times, it is amazing just how far I have gone since day 1 and many others have gone much much further. The knowlege and experience that will get us to where we want to be is the most valuable thing we have obtained.

I remember finding my first pond in the trading post - although it is now my little sump, it was an exciting purchase for me at the time.

To infinity and beyond I say.
