mcphro introduced me to this software called FreeMind. It works well for mind mapping as you may be able to see in the test page I have done below.

AM, maybe it's just me, but I don't get it.
Is it supposed to mean than AP can have an effect on everyday life???

Are you refering to the Pre Vocational Mathematics Gnash?

Wow, don't know how to really explain, but the diagram basically informs me that AP can deal with everyday learning.
If I looked at this like a mechanic, the oval ap section would be a relay, wires coming in on left, wires going out on right :?
Can you explain what the diagram is about, or are you showing what a program can do?

That we will mate
Gnash - the information 'comming out from the central bubble' is like an exploded view of the bubble (which would be a main subject)
What I am doing (or attempting to do) is show how the various subjects tie into the main bubble (Aquaponics i a school setting).
For instance, English can be used to teach students to write letters (to request donations and/or information), the correct format and language for writing a report (which is also learnt in science). So, aquaponics can be used as a real world project which is the reason for learning these skills - students tend to learn better when what they are being asked to do is linked to the real world.

Does that help?

Hi AM and McPhro,

It's always good to encounter fellow mind mapping travellers.

I've been using MindManager for eons.....which probably says something about the unfortunate state of my mind.

Ah - now we are moving into genealogy. PAF (Parent Ancestral File - I think it stands for) is a very good program for that sort of thing

Sorry - off topic again
