Rolling over in bed and waking up, wide awake and you know you are not going to go back to sleep.

Get up make coffee, one half of a roll left so you toast that and apply peanut butter like a brickie finishing a wall on a Friday afternoon.

Go to the back room and find that it is only 2am. Check world news and then the BYAP site. As you pop the last bit of cold peanut butter toasted roll in the mouth you read Charlie's post on a recipe for cooking yabbies, no yabbies in sight.

It's cold you start to sneeze and the nose runs, stop and think, the day can only improve.

Trust every one here has a beautiful day or night depending where you are.

I am not a fan of cats. I love it when they keep me awake at night jumping on the bed.

As long as the mrs gets a good sleep...

Yes as long as the misses gets a good sleep we poor souls get a good life, maybe.

Man, 2 in the morning? That does suck...

Doesn't happen to me because I generally don't get up till after the sun, if it's dark I go back to sleep.. But I have done a similar get up, get ready for work, jump in the car and wonder why you have a strange feeling that some things not right..

Then you realize it's your day off...

Or you get to work and wonder why no one else is turning up. Then you realise daylight saving kicked in hehehe.
I remember it well you put your time to good use and prepared a cooked breakfast for us all.

I hate it when a much heralded, long awaited, once in a lifetime celestial event, such as the transit of Venus for instance, occurs on the first really cloudy day for months and no-one can see it. I hate that!

Pity poor NASA when the bloke in the NT dug up the optical cable and cut all the bottom of the N T off. Lot of people from around the world are in Alice Springs to observe because it is one of the best place on this planet for it.

Cold wet mornings and you are once again awake before thr chooks.
