If the price is right I'd be taking them, ccBear. I don't think you can go far wrong with water soluble contents since, given enough hosing out, it should be all gone.

Totally non toxic mate, can be slightly irritant to eyes in pure powder form but what powder isnt. Just give the IBC's a good pressure clean wash and will be fine.

My buddy works at a water purification plant and that's what they use as part of the purification process. Shouldn't be any different than the "clarifiers" you buy to settle out solids in a tank.

Thanks every one, have made contact and will pick up Thursday. Just hope they are not sold from under me, $100.00 for the two.

Picked them up yesterday and started cleaning today. Not to bad a job, about 3 mm(1/8) left on bottom. Screwed a paint scrapper to a piece of timber to get the thick bits out then the water blaster for a couple hours. First one is the FT so it's taking the longest. The Plant bed will be easier when it is cut in half tomorrow

Thanks again for the advise, much appreciated. :thumbright:

PS If I was to scrub out with cleaning vinegar would that neutralise the contents that may left
