Thanks for the contact Julia-bites, today we went and picked up our newest farmyard animal, a pet pig. His name is Brad Pigg, he is about 20cm high, pink except for the mud and a tad skittish. He is not used to being in a house or going for a big card ride and being cuddled for two hours. What a week this has been, 2 things I thought I'd never see. A 12 ton pig on a sofa, and now 1 in the bath, excellent |

Attachment: DSC_1047 (Custom).JPG [ 122.97 KiB | Viewed 5545 times ] Attachment: DSC_1056 (Custom).JPG [ 90.58 KiB | Viewed 5545 times ] Well Brad is here today, the car trip was a bit hairy, I had to keep my hand and camera bag on the lid of the esky, he nearly jumped out a few times and did jump out when I got here. He made lots of noise when I told him he was going in the salad bar, but seems to have settled in and is tipping up the water saucer and actually fell in to it when rubbing his nose lol. Oh well at least he slept rhough the night. He is a bit cut up, no surprise when you see hime darting around, he isn't really used to people yet. Joker liked the look of him and gave his ear an extra sniff. Smoked pigs ear is one of Jokers favourites.

Yay! Zander (our couch loving pig) loved a bath, but generally ended up drinking it all. I always wanted to take him to any beach where it said "No dogs allowed", but I was scared he'd try to drink the ocean, and eat all the interesting dead stuff you tend to find. Later he didnt like showers so much so, we would draw a line on the ground with soap from the bathroom door to inside the shower, and he would follow the trail. He just loved the smell of soap. Couldn't resist it. You could literally get him lost in an endless loop by drawing the line into a circle He'd just keep tracking that soap around and around until bedtime, or until he'd snuffed it all up Pigs! Btw it's really nice to see everyone's pigs all healthy and fit. |
