Absolutely nothing to do with fish or plants (except the odd bit of scoobage that I smelt)... and I'm sure those in Perth that attended tonight would undoubtedly agree...

COLD CHISEL ROCKS!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Agreed, but not loud enough. Ears not even ringing.

I remember the old days with massive banks of speakers hung up either side, and you would go home, ears still ringing on Monday.

Geeeez!... for a while there Dave I was beginning to think I was entirely surrounded by Philistines!

Did you go to the Sandalford or Belvoir concert?... I'd never been to a concert there before, but I thought the sound was great at the Belvoir amphitheatre. I must be getting old though!... coz I thought it was just loud enough.

Cheers! :headbang:

Hi FB, Welcome to Australia! :wave1:

You're gonna love it here!

BTW... has the Immigration dept' told you how long before you can expect to have your permanency visa granted?

Like most young people, FB probably knows and loves the songs, but has no idea who they are sung by.

Mr D,

Was down at Sandleford. Sound was good. Haven't seen Jimmy since early 90's.

I found ACDC in Sydney was just right last year, but Bon Jovi in Perth was too loud and distorted.

Maybe those hard living days of the 80's/90's are catching up on me.
I see a missing decade there. Probably put that down to having kids.

A little while ago my wife was trading me about being an old man because I liked cold chisel. Three days later she was offered a free ticket to their albury concert. She lived it and didn't realise that she new so many of their songs.

Couldn't be any worse than U2 at Subi oval last year!!!
I was looking forward to that more than any other concert I'd ever been to. I was highly unimpressed when I walked outa there!!!... :upset:

This is for FB... before he asks: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U2...
