I saw on the news tonight Barnett saying shark culls may be implemented because shark attacks are rising. This despite shark caused deaths being >1% of the number of people killed in car accidents. What a load of utter crap, I am totally and utterly over this guy, he pisses me of so much.

When will people realize that spear fishing during whale migration season is simply not a good idea? I mean it's not rocket science after all

Now, you're talking

Why don't we start a movement to include a referendum question in the next federal election.

"Do we want to eliminate State governments .... YES .... NO "

Colin's thought process is so far removed from reality it is an absolute joke.

Cancels trains that were on order to save some money and tells people just to squash up a bit more.
Culls sharks because there is a rise in deaths, when considering there was only a couple a year, it isnt that difficult.
Spends millions fitting out his own headquarters, but says they havent got funding for anything the public need because of the poor economy.

Politicians forget that they are voted in by the people to act on behalf of the people.
With the wonders of internet now however, you wonder if we really need as many of them any more.
Instead on their vote counting towards the electorate, you could easily have online polls so people in electorates really get thier opinions heard.

Ignoring the fact that whenever you see them in question time you would see kindergartens with more maturity, I wonder if the way parliament is being run now is soon to be a thing of the past...

Look at polling... it costs the public millions of dollars to have an election, why not vote online, enter your tax file number, place your vote, finished 1 minute later?

How many years do you reckon till the elderly are computer savvy?
I'm not saying we should stop polling booths altogether, but if given the option would you line up at a primary school or just jump online.
Think about the time saved counting votes, and savings in paper etc..
I know parties wont like it as they cant shove their voting help cards down your throat, but they can have an online how to vote for us page, and do they really think many people change their votes on the day?

Are you human?: hmm, fishy question

Now this could be a win win situation, feed the politicians to the sharks, this would take the pressure off swimmers, and as we know, some politicians are quite toxic, therefore culling the sharks thru poisoning !!!

totally agree , but imagine the extra millions in cost to set up online voting also.
They would probably still get you with annoying popups lol

Wish we could have some politicians with cojones, rather than media muppets saying what they think people want to hear...
