this is the writing I got on the page - but I saw his growbeds on the site.

it is talking about the 'high-tech' solution for China's farmers. It says that the best ratio of the fish tank surface area to growbed area is 1:5.

Flattering, but I'm betting that Joel didn't give permission for his photo to be used. By US law, that's copyright infringement, but good luck getting them to stop using your copyrighted material.

Peashoots, do they credit Joel?

Understand that the below is from the perspective of US copyright law; I don't have knowledge of International copyright law.

Many folks are of the opinion that if it is on the Internet, it must be free. So they take what they want and use it as they want with no credit, permission or payment to the creator. This is illegal. The copyright-holder may offer material to be freely used, or may choose to require some type of compensation. Credits, a website link, or fees are typical. Copyright is assumed; it does not have to be stated (although Joel has the copyright mark on the bottom of his website pages). However, it is up to the creator to protect the copyright. Lack of effort to protect the copyright will result in its loss, and the material will become public domain. In the US, this is particularly a problem in the art/illustration industry, and also the music industry. My sister is a graphic designer, and has had to enforce her copyrights. She sends the offending party a bill and tells them to pay up or remove the use of her images. So far, they quickly remove the images rather than pay the bill and she accepts that. I get a little annoyed at copyright-infringement since that act impacts my sister's ability to feed her children.

i will talk to them for sure. but please don't use your US law. US law is not the WORLD law yet.

I tried to contact them, but not successful yet.
