See 10 news last night teaching that Spanish tennis player how to play cricket... He was hopeless... but the news reporter joked "He could play for england!" It was a good call. |

No thank God Americans don;t play cricket. They would kill each other out of sheer boreodme if they had to sit and watch a five day test. Last 5 day i was at the most entertaining thing was the drunk people getting arrested by the cops. I would be scared to see what would happen if you had a huge group of bored americans all in a staidum (i wold know my fire exits)

Personally, I think baseball is boring enough (10 min of action packed into a 2-hour game. Cricket sounds like the action is even more diluted. I prefer more action oriented things like basketball, football, hockey (although I don't watch them much either). I have my hands full, and taking hours out of my day to watch grass grow, or grown men scratch and spit isn't high on my priorities. (Can you tell I'm not much of a baseball fan?) |
