I wonder if Australia looks different, in the eyes of US citz's,
from what Aussies here see.
Was thinking, like kangaroos jumping down the street- tying horses up to the post and rail fencing at the front of the pub-
or maybe we all live in the US on a part that no one ever goes to!
Maybe- we all look like convicts.

Why is it that what we see and hear is sooo different from Americans seeing and hearing?

Why are Americans hated, in soo many countries?

I don't understand, we have not formed belief from just tele, perhaps there is a perception that we have only one tv channel.

I realized many years ago that the free to air media, release what the Government allows... so take much with a grain of salt!!
(no cable is not free to air)

Yeah C1, I think this thread (arguement) is unwinable and has so far only been an avenue for forum members to upset and offend other forum members, and the horse keeps getting flogged.

This thread started as an expression of sorrow over the events of September 11th 2001.

The discussions over who started what and who is to blame will be on-going, but they have started getting personal and I don't like it.

Got home real drunck and flicked the telly on, though what a crap B grade movie this is, those effects look crap. Changed the channel, pondered how the next network could also be showing the same B grade movie before it hit home...............

We had just been watching a Bruce willis movie, the one where the plane is hijacked, think there was a reporter who had locked himself in the dunny.
This was after flying back from Hamilton island 12 hrs in the air and a 3 hrs drive (you know the one steve) couldn't sleep!
We made it back before they grounded planes for a few hours, Hamo to bris-bris to syd-syd- adel-adel-perth Arg!
The broke the news by ending the movie...

Rove Live (when it was good) went to a commercial, and never came back. I never got to see the rest of it..... DAMN YOU TERRORISTS!!

I didn't see it till I woke up in the morning. Was playing squash back then and that night I went home after without having drinks. The guys who stayed back caught it live. Very terrible stuff - but couldn't help but stay glued to TV.
