If your mozzies are dangerous please do not breed them! Ours will give a wee bite and it is itchy but a dab of aloe or rubbed dockweed or plantain and it's fine. I lived in the bush and kept the local mossies off by keeping garlic high in my diet. Even kept sandflies back a little bit though manuka smoke at camp was better insect repellant.

Mozzies here in Perth carry Ross river and Barmah forest viruses.

My daughter got Barmah forest when she was younger. It was awful to see her so ill for so long!
