With respect to your research and planning, Just be careful and keep an open mind Stu. Your opinion and research is at odds with 90% of the world experts (the ones creating that expertise) that attended that summit.

Expertise is a huge bottleneck. Lots of people graduate with degrees in some area of Aquaculture, but have never grown fish. Fish farmers want to hire experienced people, not greenhorns b/c one wrong move can put you out of buisness.

How is that different from what I said though?

To use the analysis you quoted there may be a bunch of people who have their pilots license and they may know how to fly solo in a single seater but what about at night, in a storm, at night in a storm a jet, a c30 or 747.

I think as you say it takes more than a degree to confer expertise.

Do we agree? Is there another point I'm missing?

Sorry Stu- It was a long day and misinterpreted what you wrote as saying expertise is the last thing we need, as in least important factor. I believe we agree!
