Yeah, but you get used to it. Plus your sweat makes it into an evaporative cooler, or so some of my pards contend. Frankly, it seems to just get hotter to me because we normally have so much humidity here. I normally only wear my sack coat or shell jacket during the battles, and in camp wear a vest (either wool or cotton) over a cotton shirt, but usually wear wool uniform pants. I've got a pair of cotton broadfall trousers, but they are not 100% authentic, they have the metal studs like they use for waist band buttons on blue jeans. I could buy a pair without buttons (from Australia), but I've gained too much weight here of late and am afraid they don't come big enough!

I've seen a lot of the Tippman products advertised Shotgun News, and assumed they were pretty good. What, haven't your industry guys gone the route of doing like they do over here? Put a stupid little orange or lime green plug on the end of the barrel so the Police know not to shoot the kid holding it? (Thing is the kids have gotten to where they cover the plug with black electrical tape to make it look real! My only question is when is it going to be reported that a convenience store got robbed by a hoodlum using a real gun with a piece of orange or lime green tape wrapped around the end of the barrel?)

(By the by, there are still some "camp followers" out there. I think almost every hobby has a few. Kind of strange what "turns" people on.)

A painball 'marker' with the above configuration (m4 foregrip and stock) would be illegal in Australia, because it closely resembles a real gun (m4/m16). Just like the Tippmann X-7 which I doubt would be easily attainable here. Although it is an awesome marker. That and the A5.

It sucks over here because most of the fields here use the 98 customs, they are cheap and nasty but I suppose that is better for the businesses.

i like my m98c :D

I haven't seen paintball markers with the fluorescent barrel tips, airsoft yes, but I haven't seen it for paintball. As well, my brother is really into pellet rifles and pistols and some of his pellet guns are almost identical to real firearms, but they don't have the fluorescent tips either! Silly how the laws work.

On the topic of paintball, my personal favourite is indoor. The best way to describe it, is outdoor is like war and indoor is more like urban assault. And for relieving work stress, there's nothing like the 'office' scenario! ;-}

I have a customized Model 98, I need to either pull it out and post a pic or find one. And a currently disassembled Model 98 that I was going to make a flashier speed ball type marker out of. I really like the cyclone feed adapter, those didn't exist when I was working on it. In fact the coolest feed adapter was the center feed neck, to allow a straight drop into the chamber.

Jaymie! I'm shocked! :oops: I didn't think you knew who they were!

You are much more worldly than you appear! Probably Axl's fault!
