I look at it this way, Dr Karl is never wrong and if he is we are going to know Sweet FA about it anyway so just kiss your ass goodbye as a precaution I recommend that everyone gets as smashed as possible on the 21st, us aussies are going to have to do some time adjusting which would mean getting smashed on the morning of the 22nd but get smashed on the 21st anyhow and if your fit enough get smashed on the morning of the 22nd as well, If the world ends then you have had one hell of a good time before it does, If the world doesn't end, you will probably wish it did

He would want to hope he progresses a bit faster, as is almost 2011 and he wont have much time left to sell many books And build a bunker or 2 I can't see a bunker being much help if the world splits in 2.


If it then happened and he was the one person to survive, I think he would be pretty lonely, and would be pretty hard to repopulate the earth. I think he is practicing single handed population though

And that assumes the modern definition of "leap years" adopted by Pope Gregory.... the "Gregorian Calendar"....



Which when adopted... lopped 10 days off the then Julian Calendar.... except for some countries ... where by the time they adopted it... they had to lop off 13 days....

Some how I don't think the Mayans were using the "Gregorian Calendar"....

So the date could be closer to 2 weeks earlier... either way it looks like Xmas could be buggered...

I'm getting side tracked there aren't I? But I reckon that his definition that you posted sounds most plausible Nocky.. Surely as with all things it just clicks over, like day to day, week to week year to year. Just because my 2010 calendar ends after December 2010 doesn't mean the world is going to end, it means I need to go and buy a new calendar for 2011.

Nostradamus strangely has predicted 2012 (I have read the prophecies of.. in my opinion they could be deciphered to mean anything we wanted them to mean) , but he also predicted 7 month 1999 and nothing happened, he also has predicted the sun exploding in around 7000ad, personally I think the world as we know it will end but not in my time, if it does I wont know about it anyhow, but looking around the net there are many many people that have dedicated themselves to the cause, they are so obsessed by 2012 it is taking all their resources (and with some, cash) to prepare for it, some think that because of there dedication they will be the only survivor, other sites are just ripping people off with 2012 survival kits and books, well if people want to pay for such rubbish they are not being ripped off, I might make a kit myself, wow there is a market, will let you know when I have it ready, 25% discount to all BYAP members
