AA indeterminate was the word i was looking for. it was late here when i wrote it.
the nft was lettuce nothing else.
the way the guy told implied all tomatoes and alot of other 'fruiting ' veg would keep growing under the right conditions. (suppose no winter) toms oftem grown more like an annual and restarted every year rather than over wintered
