Thanks J and VB (and everybody!) This is (to me) what it means to be Australian - people helping people from all over the country with no real expectation for reward... this is why I have put so much effort into it - because it is for my daughter AND because so many people cared!!!

I went back to see how many and realised that there were a lot more toes than I have put up before!!! (somebody new to BYAP would be really confused by this talk of toes :lol: :D )

I would drag out the guest mattress for you too Joyce ;) (its okay, I checked it after Jaymie and Alex used it last :D ) Thanks People, I am very glad that it is shaping up well - the marigold seeds I planted are all coming up now and will look good when they are in flower in a month or 2!)... there is a bit of clean up work to do on either side of the garden then it will be "finished"... just need a weekend or 2 free to finish it all off :)

A year ago the BYAP server went down and my beautiful baby daughter was taken from me - her drowning tore apart what I thought to be a good life...
I struggled to get hold of members here (mostly to get hold of Jaymie in order to cancel a pre organised visit)... Well, after getting hold of EB he organised people and , well, soon people were donating to help get a memorial garden under way for Cheyenne... Even while in the most numbed state I have ever had to live through I was amazed at how both people I had got to know and strangers donated and also flooded us with all manner of offers of support... Humanity as it were pulled me from falling into the very grave in which we laid my daughter to rest...
I both need and want to thank all the people (world wide) who helped in so many ways - without the help and support I would not have been able to keep my head and be strong enough to help myself and my family slowly move on. Thank you so very much to every single person who help through support, prayer, donations...

The memorial garden which I have been working on over the past year has been a form of therapy for me - it has also helped me get through the past year...

Below are the latest photographs of what I have managed to plant to date... the water lily's are doing well as are the fish... and almost all the seeds I have planted are coming up strong now, and the plants which have already planted are all growing well (something which is not difficult in Cairns)...
