Prolly a gig or 3 ltrs mind you a 4,8,12 or 24 bed system nearby might do the trick... you would be able to do trout all year round using a water body like that.

A few 20kl tanks would do the trick water changes will not be a problem.

Got to 44.7 here on two thermometers around outside the house.

I didn't spend much time outside until about 2 o'clock. Thats when we realized what the temp was. We are so lucky the house is so well insulated and shaded. We only turned the air con on at 3 o'clock... Once the doors were being opened and closed, it got a little warm inside.

Unfortunately last night I found a dead marron, ironically at the foot of our barbecue.. making its way to the other pond. One is MIA (yes the big blue one) and another died of exhaustion this morning. My AP system was on 35 degrees today... Lucky there isn't anything living in there atm, but no wonder the marron packed up their bags...

Wasn't big enough.... plus he'd done enough barbecuing... more like boiling in the AP system....

I completely forgot about the heat and the system.. Even under full shade the heat absorbed through the exposed GB is enough to boil the water... I won't have this problem with a larger volume though... I HOPE!

That and the Cricket is looking very interesting right now.... The last two batters were on a roll and they call the day.... I don't think they will last many overs tomorrow...

Just spent a couple of hours in the car trying to get home as bushfires have forced the closure of the freeway.

That`s 111.56 f for the Celsius challenged.
