Its nice to be sitting in the tropics thinking of Buddies sitting on oil rigs in -70C weather. Kind of gives you a warm fuzzy feeling.

makes you think though...............those rigs are the sort of places where AP would really be a good thing. Obviously the living quarters are heated, and you could make use of waste heat from kitchen / engines to warm a poly tunnel.

I'd do a stint on one to set up a system for them  no worries. Need to bring every thing you need in one hit though, no bunnings stores nearby. LOL

Hey Steve,
It might be a really good company idea. Providing people in remote places (like oil rigs and mines) with fresh veges and fish and something to do :D

i'm not a sales person though. IMO gimmick ideas get produced and bought and good viable ideas for some reason fail.

A man and a woman, who have never met before, find themselves assigned to the same sleeping room on a transcontinental train.
Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, the two are tired and fall asleep quickly...he in the upper bunk and she in the lower.
At 1:00 AM, he leans over the side and gently wakes the woman saying, "Ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you, but would you be willing to reach into the closet to get me a second blanket? I'm awfully cold."
"I have a better idea," she replies. "Just for tonight, let's pretend that we're married."
"Wow! That's a great idea!!" he exclaims.
"Good," she replies. "Get your own damn blanket!"
After a moment of silence, he farted
