It is good to see how friendly everyone is around here. I don't think I have seen a single flame anywhere here. :occasion5:

LOL Garry............ i love a debate too, but its a fine line between a debate and complete disaster. debates are better savoured over beer, so as no one can remember who called them what :)

That was a baptism of fire GD VS Aeon...........extreme yabbie culture......... :)

In regards to karma, anyone ever seen the TV show my name is earl? basic plot line: guy's been a crook all his life doi shitty stuff to people and he keeps getting hurt. So when he finally gets hit by a car when he wins a shit-tin of money on a scratchy he writes a list of all the bad things he's ever done and spends his money trying to fix everything. It's bloody hilarious. For SEQers I think it's on channel 7 on Thursdays at 8pm.

Hi every one. I am a very new newbie. I am just starting to look into aquaponics. As a christian I just had to reply to this post. Church is a noun in the original language it ment an assmbled group of people. In the time the New Testament was written it was used to discribe a group of christians meeting together to worship God. The verb part is worship. Anyway the connection between God and Aqua? I believe there is a connection. God made the fish, the plants and humans with brains and free wills. After He finished He said, "It is good". I look at it this way. God is the parent we are the children. God gave us a lot of leggo and said go make things. So we did and so we still do. Aquaponics is just putting together the leggo blocks that God gave us. I just thank him each day for all the wonderful leggo.

Aquaponics takes us from the bottom of the food chain (algae and bacteria) to the top - (us eating the product). It is a superior system in many regards, by utilising nature. There is definately a connection here with regards to aquaponics and 'the way things really work'. Or creation. There is an order to the chaos, a system of checks and balances we are only beginning to comprehend.

The further we stray from natures lessons the more hard lessons we seem to learn. Farmers with no topsoil, declining species everywhere...

Yes, we have the 'leggo set' of the Gods, but we keep trying to manufacture our own cheaper plastic bricks.

So many answers, right under our nose, if we were patient and wise enough to let nature show them to us.
