When you do EB can i come and help setup :D

How about a 1000 or 3000 liter pond (the ones you sell) and a couple of pressurized pond filters? or even a AP system for the fish?

Aquaponics is an integrated system Nic.... you don't get to choose the part you want to play with.... it's all or nothing ...

So Nic,
When you take flying lessons, are you going to skip the take-offs and landings, and just do the flying part?

I think in any endeavor it is important to learn as many different aspects as possible.

When you say that, do you mean as in they are breeding, raising and selling live fish?

Or are they raising the fish and preparing them at the deli?

Or do you mean that they have already dead fish shipped in that they then serve as food?

Three rather different situations.

I would like to be able to sell any excess in the future at local markets, live of course... fresh dead is too much effort with regulations... Even if I have to write 'not intended for human consumption' and then offer a filleting service at the stall next door?
We need to get together and pay a lawyer to look into the fine print... No point us all doing it separately, but I'm no where near have excess for a couple of years at least :-)

Check your regs Kuda.... license to grow, license to sell, license to transport, health regs...

Live fish sales for consumption are heavily regulated and policed... well here in NSW anyway..... guess that's why most of it is done via the restaurant back door
